  • Immersion Blender


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 cups Roma tomatoes chopped
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder


  • In a large pot, add some olive oil and heat it over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat. Next, blend the soup until smooth.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Serve hot.



    • A regular blender will work fine if you do not have an immersion blender, but you may want to blend the soup in batches.
    • Let it cool completely before transferring it to a freezer.
