Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the water and yeast. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add the flour, olive oil, salt, and sugar to the bowl and stir until everything is combined.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  • After the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a 12-inch circle.
  • Preheat your oven to 500°F or 260°C.
  • Place the dough on a greased pizza pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, add your favorite toppings, and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.
