Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chickpeas soaked overnight
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp water for consistency, optional

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  • Add the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and pepper to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if the dip is too thick.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  • Serve with fresh vegetables or pita bread.
